2. Jacques Grange
Grange, who always loved drawing as a kid is also an accomplished student of gilding, plaster carving, cabinetmaking, and upholstery. He acquired his interior design degree from the prestigious École Camondo. Grange described his first client, Yves Saint Laurent as the one who set home creatively free.
They later worked together on the couturier’s villa in Marrakech, inspired by a traditional Riyadh, and the Proust-themed Château Gabriel, in Normandy, whose walls Grange had painted to look like Monet’s water lilies.

Peter Marino is primarily an architect but known more for edgy flair in interior designs. In 1985, Marino was tasked with designing the women’s retail concept for Barney’s department store. This led to him designing 17 freestanding Barney’s department stores in the U.S. and Japan.
Marino’s work for Barneys brought him into the circle of famed fashion designers such as Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Ermenegildo Zegna, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, and eventually Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and others for whom he designed boutiques. Marino was also the brains behind the flagship Louis Vuitton shop on Rodeo Drive, in Beverly Hills, California.

Nate Berkus was bold enough to establish his successful interior design firm at the age of 24, whose friendly demure has transformed countless homes around the world through his design work and home decor. Nate’s first appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show which resulted in him becoming one of the world’s most recognizable interior designers. Roman and Williams Buildings and Interiors was set up by famed duo Robin Standefer and Stephen Alesch in 2002. They took their first step in designing a home in Los Angeles and never looked back since. The plethora of experience they had from designing sets for famous Hollywood films laid the foundation stone for their design style and inspiration.

Jonathan Adler is a potter, interior decorator, and author. After the launch of his first ceramic collection in 1993 at Barneys New York, he expanded into furniture design, opening his first boutique in Soho, Manhattan. He now has 17 stores and runs a successful home interiors business. Growing up in Bridgeton, New Jersey, made his RISD pottery, including Chanel-inspired teapots and Sevres-inspired urns, reflect his interests in pop culture, early hip hop culture, contemporary art, and fashion.

India Mahdavi was born in Tehran to a Persian father and an English-Egyptian mother. Mahdavi’s flair for vibrancy and color can be traced back to her childhood influences with Disney movies, Bugs Bunny, Peanuts. Mahdavi designed a series of restaurants and bars including the Condesa DF Hotel of Mexico City, At the Connaught in London, and Le Germain in Paris.
